The Extraordinary Ordinary Event

In this creative interactive workshop we move away from use of intellectual, cognitive, thought processes and towards the language of our wise intuitive self. The language of the social and emotional mind is imagery, art, symbol, music and metaphor

Group follow up programmes

To truly embed the psychological principles of wellbeing into the culture of your business you can sign up to a 3, 6 or 12 month follow-up programme. All follow-up programmes aim to offer time and space for further reflections, explorations and insights based in the themes shared in the EO event.

Creative Holistic Approach Nervous system Guided Embodied care

This 2-day experiential training event is for health and social care staff who want to feel more confident and skilled in their ability to bring a holistic, creative, trauma Informed, embodied approach to their practice.

Events tailored to your team

After-dinner events offer a presentation with experiential exercises on stage. These might be suitable for gala dinner entertainment where the audience is keen to hear about the key to mental health and well-being. Equally, you may want to incorporate this as part of a wider programme on a team building away-day.

The longer events offer a wide variety of interactive creative exercises with group, pair and individual coaching incorporated. These events allow time for further realisations and interaction. The longer we are together the more time there is for ‘unlearning’, explorations and clarification.

Virtual events

Flexibility and creativity are at the heart of Light of Mind. We want to make it as easy for you as possible to engage with our services.

During the pandemic, we all had to use new ways to stay connected. Isolation provided us with individual challenges and at Light of Mind we had to explore ways we can continue to offer embodied approaches through a screen. We found a way!

If virtual attendance is more convenient for you or your team we are proud to say we have invented ways to keep the interactive spirit that energises our work alive.

The Zoom screen can become a stage, an individual TV set or a portable camera to share meaningful places in your environment!

Mary is a truly gifted and insightful coach, an inspiring and creative facilitator, and a loving force of nature. She has the knack of getting right to the heart of what’s stopping people being all that they can be, and then pointing people to the path that leads to wholeness, health and freedom. I would have no hesitation recommending her wholeheartedly.

Kimberley Hare, author of “The Heart of Thriving”, and creator of the Heart of Thriving workshop.

Following an inspiring two day workshop with our managerial team, we asked Mary to lead a half-day well-being session at our Spring Staff Training Day. All of the 92 staff present found the session incredibly eye-opening and many continually report the effect it has had both on their personal and professional life.

Annie Murphy, Managing Director - Portland Nurseries

I thought Mary had a unique and refreshing style when tackling the subject of well-being and mental health - perfect for our staff and students. The training was so good that I found myself putting it into practice personally straightaway. I even shared it with my family.

New College - Pontefract

This was a very relevant course - run it again! I realised the power is within me - and that it is my choice to enable the thoughts.

NHS Psychiatrist - Speciality Associate Doctor Training Event

I loved the energy that Mary brought to the training and the creativity. Her motivation was really inspiring- the therapy combined with the creativity was like living the dream for me!
